The Personal Security Assistant will provide close protection and administrative support to ensure the safety, security, and efficiency of the employers daily activities. This role combines elements of personal security, logistics coordination, and personal assistance to safeguard the client while supporting their professional and personal commitments. Key Responsibilities: Provide close protection and ensure the personal safety of the employer at all times. Conduct security risk assessments of locations, routes, and events prior to travel. Escort the employer during business, social, and personal engagements. Monitor surroundings and identify potential threats or risks. Coordinate secure transportation, including route planning and driver liaison. Manage access control and liaise with security personnel at venues or residences. Assist with scheduling, diary management, and travel arrangements. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Act as a point of contact between the employer and relevant service providers (security, transport, event staff, etc.). Provide general personal assistant support as required (errands, bookings, logistics).
Key Requirements: Matric required Security-related training highly advantageous Previous experience in close protection, VIP security, or a similar role Experience in personal assistance or executive support Strong situational awareness and risk assessment skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Physically fit and able to respond to emergencies swiftly
