Sales Representative – Steel structures

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Valid Drivers’ License
• A diploma in sales or a similar qualification would be advantageous.
• More than 5 years as a key accounts manager within the steel industry.
• Sales experience in the building and construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.

• Handling all enquiries, quoting and follow-ups.
• Building long-term relationships with key customers
• Managing specific selected accounts
• Quote on enquiries using SA Steel suppliers.
• Arrange logistics along with support staff.
• Ensure increased customer awareness and maintain/increase market share.
• Ensure optimal growth by providing excellent customer service.
• Meet and improve annual budgets – inherent requirement.
• Client queries are responded to timeously.
• Deliveries are followed up on whenever necessary.
• Customers are visited on a regular basis.
• Frequent calling on customers (visits).
