Job DescriptionFinancial Accountant - Investment FirmOur loyal client which is a' boutique' investment company in La Lucia managing a diverse portfolio across 10 entities, including but, not limited to properties, investments and trusts is seeking a skilled senior Financial Accountant who ticks all the boxes but, is also looking for a role with greater flexibility.Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day financial operations across all companies

Support executive management with finance-related queries and guide optimal financial processes

Maintain strong relationships with banks and service providers

Collaborate closely with directors and assist with various adhoc tasks

Conduct monthly reporting reviews and financial analysis

Perform VAT and balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis

Assist in managing the annual budgeting process

Prepare monthly and annual management reports for auditors

Ensure timely statutory and tax preparation and submission

Please note, this list is not exhaustive. The role requires adaptability and willingness to engage with varied financial tasks.Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Honours preferred

Proven experience in financial management roles

Ability to work effectively within a small team while handling confidential information

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Solid knowledge of financial regulations, risk management, and compliance

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; Sage experience is advantageous

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
