Are you a skilled Civil Engineer or Engineering Technologist looking for your next challenge? Join a dynamic and growing civil engineering team based in Cape Town, where your technical expertise and passion for high-quality design will help shape exciting development projects across the region.Create detailed engineering drawings and layouts, including models for bulk earthworks, sewer, stormwater, and water systems, using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to accurately interpret project requirements and translate them into precise technical drawings
Review and assess design documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with applicable standards and regulations
Coordinate civil services with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration across all aspects of each project
Update and revise CAD drawings as projects progress, incorporating changes efficiently and accurately throughout the project lifecycle
Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines without compromising quality and attention to detail
Maintain an organized and up-to-date library of CAD files and project documentation to support efficient project delivery and team collaboration
Assist in compiling project documentation, including tender packages, bills of quantities, technical specifications, meeting records, and civil services reports
Participate in site visits and perform quality control inspections to ensure design implementation aligns with engineering standards and project expectationsSkills & Experience:
B.Tech, B.Eng, or BSc in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, supported by a strong portfolio of relevant projects
Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with advanced drafting skills and attention to detail
