We are looking for a Mid to Senior-level Microsoft Cloud Data Engineer with solid experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions on the Microsoft cloud stack. You will play a key role in delivering scalable and efficient data pipelines and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making in the mining sector. You will work in a dynamic, Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Build and optimize data models for analytical and reporting use.
Create interactive and insightful dashboards using Power BI and Grafana.
Ingest, transform, and manage large-scale datasets using Microsoft Azure Data Explorer (ADX/Kusto).
Write efficient and well-documented SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
Monitor data flows, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues in cloud data pipelines.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders.
Maintain best practices for data governance, security, and quality.

Required Skills & Experience:

4-8 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Data Services, especially Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Data Explorer (ADX).
Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
Hands-on experience with Power BI dashboarding and DAX.
Exposure to Grafana for operational metrics or real-time monitoring dashboards.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
Experience working with large datasets, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sectors.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
