Hire Resolve, a well-established recruitment firm, is currently partnering with a leading company in the Agricultural Industry to find a highly skilled Senior Credit Controller to join their team. As a Senior Credit Controller in the Agricultural Industry, you will be responsible for managing the credit control processes and ensuring optimal cash flow for the company. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a reputable organization.Responsibilities:

Oversee the credit control function, ensuring timely and efficient collection of outstanding debts
Monitor and analyze customer credit profiles to assess creditworthiness
Review credit limits, terms, and conditions for new and existing customers
Negotiate payment terms and settlements with customers and resolve any credit-related issues
Implement and maintain credit control policies and procedures
Prepare and present credit control reports to senior management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve payment disputes
Monitor and report on aged debtors, initiate legal proceedings as necessary
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to credit control

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Credit Controller
Completed SAIPA
B.Com degree with articles
Advanced Excel
Accounting Principles
Basic VAT principles
Basic Audit principles
Strong knowledge of credit control practices, procedures, and regulations
Excellent understanding of financial statements and credit risk assessment
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
