Cedarwood School is an inclusive, remedial Preparatory School (Grade R - Grade 6) and College (Grade 7 - 12) situated in the congenial country setting of Glenferness, north of Lonehill, for children who have mild to moderate support needs that prevent them from coping adequately in a mainstream school environment. - Must be able to apply various methodologies to make the Afrikaans curricula accessible to pupils.
- Be capable of differing their teaching to meet the individual needs of their pupils.
- A teaching degree with a major in at least Afrikaans or a language-teaching focused specialisation.
- At least 5 years of teaching experience - preferably in a remedial school.
- Fully versed in Grades 1-6 CAPS FAL curricula.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
- Permanent SACE Registration.
- Have a Police Clearance and Sexual Offenders Clearance Certificate.
- Fully computer literate and conversant with all MS Office software.
- The successful candidate must align with the school’s ethos, culture, and values.
- Show patience and kindness, and be invitational in their teaching approach.
- Attention to detail, willingness to go the extra mile, working late when needed, prepared to take feedback.
- Proficient in the review of outcomes, the analysis of results and the integration of information into comprehensive reports.

- Have excellent time management, communication, and project management skills
