We are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful manufacturing group for an experienced Chief Financial Officer.
This role requires a strategic leader who can manage complex financial operations while guiding the business through sustained growth.

  • Chartered Accountant (SA) Preferable or CIMA qualification (MBA advantageous)
  • Proven CFO experience in manufacturing environment
  • ERP system expertise essential, SYSPRO or SAGE
  • Strong background in Board-level reporting and governance
  • Skilled in international trade — imports/exports, foreign currency transactions
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead and mentor the finance department, building a high-performance and continuous improvement culture
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and development of finance personnel
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO, executive team, and Board
Financial Strategy & Operations
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management for the group
  • Drive financial analysis to support business expansion, capital investments, and product strategies
  • Monitor cash flow, investments, debt, and risk exposure to ensure long-term stability
  • Ensure alignment of financial strategy with overall corporate objectives
Governance, Compliance & Reporting
  • Oversee preparation of quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc financial statements in line with statutory requirements
  • Maintain compliance with all tax, regulatory, and reporting obligations
  • Implement strong internal controls, governance processes, and risk management frameworks
  • Regularly update management on budget variances and financial performance
Systems & Process Optimisation
  • Evaluate and improve ERP, reporting, and operational systems to enhance efficiency
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, standard operating procedures, and performance metrics
International Operations
  • Manage cross-border transactions, imports/exports, and foreign currency dealings
  • Ensure compliance with relevant global trade regulations and financial standards
