Job title: Shop AssistantSalary: Basic - to be discussedLocation: Orchards, PretoriaVacancy type: Full timeJob duties:Customer Service: Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answer questions, and provide product information.Sales: Support over-the-counter sales and assist customers with purchases.Cash Register: Handle cash and card payments, operate the till, and perform basic cash-up duties.Stock Taking: Assist with inventory counts, stock recording, and reporting discrepancies.Merchandising: Pack shelves neatly, ensure correct pricing and labeling, and maintain attractive displays.Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and tidy store and work area, following health and safety standards, especially in a meat retail environment.Receiving Stock: Assist with receiving deliveries, unpacking, and storing stock.Customer Complaints: Refer complaints or issues to the manager promptly and professionally.Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues and management to ensure smooth daily operations.Other Tasks: Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the managerRequirements:

Min. 2-5 years experience in retail
Be between 25-35 years old
Good customer service
Willing to work retail hours
Experience in stock taking would be beneficial
Must be able to speak two or more of the following languages: English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Sepedi, Tswana
