Senior BI Data Analyst

• Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes; systems and policies and support implementation of new processes; policies and systems.
• Utilize resources by adhering to standards; policies and procedures.

• Develop reporting solutions; write SAS stored procedures, functions, triggers to manipulate the data supplied by the source system and prepare it for reporting purposes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for updates to databases.
• Manage projects to analyse, design, develop and maintain database solutions to manage client data.
• Clear technical understanding across a broad range of technologies
• Managing the SAS Design architecture in a complex model environment
• Structure data into compliance standards by adhering to metadata governance procedures according to Nedbank documented standards and formats.
• Govern population of data marts and metadata repository by complying to standards; systems; processes and procedures.
• Support business units by providing consulting services that delivers data and information relevant to their business.
• Ensure customer needs are met through regular customer feedback sessions.

• Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

• Honour’s Degree that includes Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Informatics and\or Finance

• Data Management (DAMA) Certification, Certification/formal training in relevant technology

• Data Management (DAMA) Certification, Certification/formal training in relevant technology
• Azure Fundamentals

• 10 years relevant experience of which 5-7 years is in a data management /business role
• 2 - 5 years’ experience managing others
• 2 - 5 years’ ETL, MS SQL, SAS, Power BI, Advanced Excel
