The organization delivers project and asset services across energy, chemicals, mining, minerals, and metals, as well as infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring quality assurance and control across the full project lifecycle. This position is based in the Northern Cape.Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain a project-specific Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with both company and client standards.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
- Conduct inspections at various stages of construction and commissioning.
- Verify materials, welding, coatings, and mechanical/electrical installations.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and non-conformance logs.
- Prepare and submit QA/QC reports to project management and clients.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Monitor contractor compliance with quality requirements.
- Review and approve quality documentation from vendors and subcontractors.
- Coordinate third-party inspections where required.
- Identify quality issues and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Support root cause analysis and lessons learned processes.
- National Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is advantageous.
- Registration with ECSA or SACPCMP (preferably).
