- Manage supplier relations and ingredient contracts
- Manage and appoint new suppliers as required
- Sourcing new and unique ingredients for new product development
- Forecasting and contract purchasing for ingredient usage via client and sales team forecasting
- Managing local and international supply chains; purchasing, forecasting, shipping and delivery.
- Manage monthly stock take, reporting to Accounts
- Alcohol duties and exercise calculations for government rebates
- Management of EU and International export of finished products
- ERP System administration; product coding, Supplier set-up and pricing etc
- Manage product costings, structures, recipes and related updates
- Ensure up-to-date product specifications for all ingredients
- Coordinate supplier audits
- Close collaboration with all departments, especially goods in/out and warehouse
- Minimum requirements: BCom degree in Procurement / Supply Chain / Similar
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years'' experience in a procurement role
- Experience in the FMCG industry is essential
- Sourcing experience
- Talent in negotiations and networking
- Background in scheduling, forecasting, procurement, and planning
- Experience in procurement - managing end of life cycle and absolute inventory
- Good communication skills
