
Business Development Consultant - Interior Design

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets such as hospitality, retail, corporate, and property development.
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, industry events, cold outreach, referrals, and digital platforms.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with architects, property developers, real estate professionals, and other industry stakeholders.
- Develop tailored presentations and proposals that communicate the value of the company's design services.
- Work closely with the design and project management teams to align client expectations with service delivery.
- Track sales targets, monitor pipeline activity, and provide regular performance reports to leadership.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends, competitor activity, and potential growth sectors.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Maintain accurate client records in the CRM system.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, preferably in the design, architecture, property, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of the interior design process and the ability to communicate design value propositions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office (or Google Workspace).
- A network within the design, architecture, or property development sectors is highly advantageous.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or related field (preferred but not essential).
