Assistant House Keeping Manager Western Cape Market relatedNew opportunity for an experienced Assistant House Keeping Manager to join the leadership team with this international hotel group, with the role being based in Cape Town.The ideal Assistant HK Manager will have strong leadership & excellent communication skills, someone who relishes client facing environments & developing teams.Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage the housekeeping finance and administration including budgets, records, audit requirements, salaries, wages, operating equipment and guest supply
  • Develop & implement action plans ensuring the optimal functioning of all housekeeping operations
  • Manage all areas related to contractual arrangements
  • Access and interpret human resource policies and legislative requirements for efficient implementation
  • Facilitate effective interdepartmental co-operation to ensure guests’ expectations are anticipated and exceeded
  • Work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards.
Requirements:2 years in a similar or supervisory position in medium to large, branded hotelsRelevant tertiary qualificationComputer literacy (MS Office); knowledge of OPERASalary Package: Market related + provident + medical aid contribution + bonus
