Job SummaryA great mining company in Rustenburg, North West is seeking the expertise of a Plant Manager (3.1a) to join their team of professionals.Responsibilities

Effective operation of the plant as an effective business unit to an agreed business plan and process parameters
Develop a 2-5 years resource and mining strategy and coordinate ore and services to the plant
Responsible for compilation and control of production, quality and cost budgets
Creating a high-performing team and a conducive employee relations climate - people management (HR and IR) in a unionized environment
Ensures adherence to legislative requirements and the company's Health and Safety Standards
Financial Management (operational and capital cost budgets)
Responsible for research and development
Maintain a good relationship with the clients at host-mine and liaise on all relevant plant issues

Requirements

Grade 12
Degree in Metallurgical / Chemical / Extraction Metallurgy
Postgraduate Qualification (Advantageous)
10 - 12 years' experience in a plant mining environment
Minimum 5 years at manager level

Benefits

Salary: R1.6M/yr - R1.8M/yr, negotiable
