We are recruiting for an Accountant to join our client’s team in Irene, Centurion.
The ideal candidate will have completed SAIPA articles with 1–2 years post-article experience.
Exposure to the mining or processing environment would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with IFRS.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Handle invoicing, reconciliations, accounts payable & receivable, and cash flow reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns.
- Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure proper internal controls and risk management procedures.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
- Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.
- Assist with costings for proposals.
- Completed SAIPA articles.
- 1–2 years post-article experience.
- Mining or processing sector experience (advantageous).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
