- Deliver superior, consistent client management and deliverables for assigned clients:
- Draft statements of work, project plans and budgets involving multiple workflow streams and client teams.
- Oversee the day-to-day projects, ensuring the progress of the established objectives, budgets, timelines, deliverables and quality standards.
- Serve as primary, daily contact to clients on delivery of services.
- Manage client expectations and solve problems.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects.
- Provide valued-added consulting expertise on large, sophisticated projects as well as small and medium sized enterprises, including health plan re-design, pricing and funding and employee contributions strategies, benchmarking studies and negotiations, plan renewals and vendor analysis and management.
- Contribute to projects within the Health and Benefits arena including health management and wellness.
- Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches for complex clients.
- Meet revenue goals established with your manager.
- Support the generation of new business by enhancing relationships with current clients and recommending new projects and solutions.
- Participate in prospecting opportunities with new clients as part of a broader team.
- Directly contribute to clients’ success through applying your technical expertise
- Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels.
- Coach colleagues in the region on the nuances of the role and coverage.
- 10+ years’ experience and success in the design/management of corporate healthcare plans gained in a consulting, brokerage, or insurance (carrier) environment.
- Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget.
- Demonstrated success in managing client issues and relationships, preferred experience in growing relationships with current clients.
- Strong interpersonal and team skills.
- Polished and well developed oral and written communication skills.
- Initiative-taker attitude and ability to work with ambiguity.
- Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Strong analytical and creative skills.
- FAIS compliant, Regulatory exam (5) certificate (NQF Level 5 minimum)
- South African Citizen or holder of Permanent Residency in South Africa
- Working knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, MS Word
- Bachelor’s Degree or insurance industry related Diploma preferred.
