Maintenance Manager_Electrician (Wireman's License)

• Maintenance and repairs of overall store and assets.
• i.e. fixtures & fittings; trolleys; workshop equipment; machinery; store structure; building sites; forklifts; hysters and transporters; minor refrigeration.
• Repairs to electrical distribution boards; water pipes, painting, fire sprinklers and systems.
• Identify any problems when conducting maintenance duties.
• Management of all external contractors.
• Ensure excellent standards of cleanliness; safety; hygiene and housekeeping.
• Repairs, general maintenance, safety issues and fire protection.
• Ensure excellent operational standards.
• Ensure effective staff administration i.e. PDRs and feedback sessions.
• Develop subordinates through coaching, training, mentoring.
• Performance manage subordinate in the department.
• Administration and budget control.

• Relevant diploma or degree qualification with managerial experience (highly advantageous).
• 2 years experience in similar position will be advantage.
• Essential to have experience in general maintenance functions.
• Experience and technical knowledge of electrical installations.
• Wiremans license.
• Forklifts license will be an advantage.
• Hands on "technically inclined person".
• The successful applicant will be required to work Saturdays / Sundays, Public Holidays, after hours and overtime, as necessitated by the business.
• Record of self-development and potential to progress to more senior levels.
• Presentable at all times.
• Self-motivated, confident with a high level of initiative.
• Proven leadership ability.
• Decisiveness and attention to details required.
• Excellent communication skills assertive, yet empathetic personality.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to focus and concentrate on detail work fanatical about work standards, attention to detail and neatness.
• Proven problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure with consistent accuracy.
• Valid Code 08 drivers license.
