- Preparation of monthly management account reporting with full year forecast
- Presentation of monthly financial results to management
- Assisting with preparation of annual budgets
- Managing of annual audits to ensure that audit deadlines are met
- Implimentation and maintenance of company procedures
- Assisting with daily cashflow planning
- Reviewing of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Identifying possible financial control weaknesses and making suggestions for improvements
- Maintenance of master data in Microsoft Navision (chart of accounts, item codes, VAT setups, etc)
- Submitting six monthly staff performance appraisals
- Plan and budget staff according to seasonal requirements
- Plan and manage staff leave in accordance with operational and statutory requirements
- Manage recruitment and retention of the best candidates
- Manage forex payments and transactions to minimise forex risk
- Approve administrative overhead expenses
- Review vendor reconciliations to identify potential threats or outstanding transactions
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of income
- Continuously drive efficiencies within the finance function
- 5 Years financial management experience
- B.Com degree – CA(SA) would be advantageous
- Experience in Agriculture/Logistics/Production will be beneficial
