
Head of Sales (Cloud /Snowflake) (JHB – Onsite)

- Proactively generate and close new business, especially around data services, custom software, and cloud platforms like Snowflake
- Nurture and grow existing accounts (farming), including renewals, cross-sells, and upsells
- Build a scalable and predictable sales pipeline
- Lead and facilitate client discovery sessions aligned to the consultative sales process
- Create technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with internal technical teams
- Help shape and influence the company's Go-to-Market (G2M) strategy
- Create “sales assets” to standardise outreach, pitch, and closing processes
- Provide market feedback to leadership and influence product and marketing direction
- Understand industry trends in software, data science, SaaS, and AI/ML
- Successfully complete onboarding/upskilling on Snowflake and other internal products
- Represent internal software products like Beam and Ignite in sales conversations
- Meet KPIs for lead generation, pipeline coverage, and client engagement
- 5-10 years in B2B tech sales (consulting, SaaS, software, or data services)
- Excellent knowledge of enterprise sales cycles, account planning, and forecasting
- Comfortable with technical solution selling, including data platforms and cloud tools
- Strong business acumen, client engagement skills, and deal-closure mindset
- Ready to grow into a strategic leadership role driving the commercial roadmap
