Job Description :A pharmaceutical company focused on women's health and wellness is seeking a dynamic and experienced Weekend On Duty Manager to lead and coordinate a large infield sales team of approximately 160 members across the Gauteng area.This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a proven track record in managing, motivating, and coordinating high-performing sales teams within the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetics, or FMCG sectors.This is a weekends-only position, covering: Friday afternoons, Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays, and up to midday on Mondays. Retail hours apply, meaning availability is required until the last retailer closes.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Oversight & AttendanceEnsure all team members are present and punctual for weekend shifts.Address clock-in/clock-out issues, no-shows, and timekeeping discrepancies.Sales Monitoring & MotivationShare weekend sales targets and statistics.Actively motivate and uplift team performance in real time.Conduct at least six infield mystery visits per weekend.Crisis & Issue ManagementRespond to customer complaints, staffing issues, and operational disruptions.Act as a first point of contact for urgent matters.Event CoordinationOrganise and support expos, congresses, and promotional events.Serve as a backup for event logistics and execution.Audit & ComplianceAuthorise shifts and analyse sales data.Ensure team discipline and compliance with labour legislation and company policies.Training & Resource ManagementTrain staff on products, procedures, and business functions.Ensure availability of uniforms, badges, marketing materials, and other resources.Requirements

Strong leadership and motivational ability.

Excellent organisational and crisis management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Familiarity with labour law and retail operations.

Ability to work independently and communicate across multiple levels.
