We are looking for an energetic, hard-working team player who loves to learn and be challenged to join our dynamic team.Key Responsibilities• Quality control monitoring of goods manufactured at CMTs, and service providers including, but not limited to Cutting, printing, embroidery, pleating and finishing services • Liaison with Design Division Garment Technologists on quality issues • Liaison with Design Division technical teams and Operations Managers and Planners • AQL and S4 reports • Reporting and monitoring of all quality issues arising at the factory and the implementation of and measurement of action plans and mentoring/training for improvement. • Daily reports to Head Office • Able to manage priority workloads, appointments and schedulesQualifications and Experience• Clothing manufacturing experience in a factory environment • Experience in a Quality Assurance role at Senior Auditor/supervisory level • Minimum experience of 5 years in a similar role or level of responsibility • Experienced in conducting AQL (Level 2.5 major, 4 Minor) inspections and compiling AQL and S4 reports. • Code 8 Drivers licence • Basic computer literacy and Excel skills an advantageCompetenciesTechnical and Behaviours Competencies: • Understanding of manufacturing work flow • Quality management systems • Garment construction across a wide product spectrum • A working knowledge and understanding of patterns and grading • Solution driven and pro-active problem solver • Team player Essential Competencies: • Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills • Effectively communicates all quality problems by appropriate reporting and photographic means • Able to deal with conflict situations when they arise • High attention to detail • High energy and drive • AQL knowledge • IT competence - Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Service orientated and results driven • Ability to work independently • Ability to provide feedback
