- Maintaining and updating health and safety records and documentation.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs and policies.
- Coordinating safety inspections and audits.
- Assisting with the investigation of incidents and accidents.
- Supporting the development and delivery of health and safety training programs.
- Assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations related to health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Associate's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Valid code 08 driver's license.
- SAMTRAC/Nebosh or equivalent qualification.
- ITIS – Train the Trainer (NOSA).
- HIRA – Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment.
- RISKMAQ 1 & 2 (IRCA Global).
- First Aid Level 1 certification.
- Excellent knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act & Regulations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar health, safety, and environmental coordination role, preferably in an administrative capacity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
