Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a reputable company in their search for a dynamic Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for administrative work and strong knowledge in health, safety, and environmental practices.The Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the administrative aspects of health, safety, and environmental programs within the organization. This includes maintaining accurate records, assisting with regulatory compliance, and supporting the implementation of safety initiatives.Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and updating health and safety records and documentation.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs and policies.
  • Coordinating safety inspections and audits.
  • Assisting with the investigation of incidents and accidents.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of health and safety training programs.
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations related to health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Valid code 08 driver's license.
  • SAMTRAC/Nebosh or equivalent qualification.
  • ITIS – Train the Trainer (NOSA).
  • HIRA – Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment.
  • RISKMAQ 1 & 2 (IRCA Global).
  • First Aid Level 1 certification.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act & Regulations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar health, safety, and environmental coordination role, preferably in an administrative capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
