The iCafe at 1 Sandton Drive is looking for a passionate and service-driven Barista to join our team full-time.This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating quality coffee, thrives in a dynamic retail environment, and values customer interaction. The successful candidate will work five days a week, including Saturdays, in line with retail hours.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffee and teas, in line with iCafe standards.Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and offering knowledgeable recommendations.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised café environment, adhering to hygiene and health and safety regulations at all times.Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently and manage transactions with attention to accuracy.Restock ingredients and consumables throughout the shift and ensure the display area remains appealing and well-presented.Support daily café operations and collaborate effectively with the broader iCafe and iStore team.Represent the iStore and iCafe brands professionally, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all customers.Requirements:
Completed Matric
Previous barista or café experience preferred.Passion for coffee and creating excellent customer experiences.Friendly and approachable, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure. * Punctual, reliable, and a strong team player.Working Hours:5 days per week (including one Saturday), based on a retail shift schedule.Flexibility for weekday shifts, including morning and afternoon coverage.
