- Qualification in Professional Cookery or Food & Beverage is essential
- Uphold Assessor Qualification within Professional Cookery (SAQA ID 14111) and Food & Beverage Services (SAQA ID 14113)
- Grade 12
- Minimum 3 years' training experience
- Clear criminal record
- Clean credit check
- Compliance and adherence to the Workplace Skills Plan
- All admin related duties related to training i.e. data capturing and managing of learner applications
- Support to the Practical Kitchen with chef classes and training
- Update of all relevant training documents and material
- Stock takes of material library and Practical Kitchen
- Coordinating of venues of training interventions and other related events
- Feedback is provided to the Head of the Learning Academy as stipulated
- Learnerships are coordinated, managed and monitored in accordance with internal and SETA requirements
- The Company is represented in a professional manner at regional social responsibility activities
- Training completed is captured on the VIP System within the agreed upon timeframe
- Training feedback report is compiled and submitted to the relevant Project Manager and Head of the Learning Academy within the agreed upon timeframe
- Training is coordinated and scheduled in accordance with operational needs and Workplace Skills Plan commitments
- Training is facilitated in accordance with stipulated outcomes employing outcomes based training methodologies
- Training material and requisite training resources and equipment are prepared, arranged and ready prior to the scheduled training taking place
- Training material is developed and/or reviewed in accordance with identified needs
- Training material is outcomes based, where applicable aligned to Unit Standards and reflects appropriate training methodologies
- Training needs analyses are conducted in liaison with the relevant Project Managers taking into consideration operational needs, succession planning, employment equity goals and SETA discretionary grant criteria
- Training providers meeting stipulated criteria are sourced and approved by the Head of the Learning Academy
- Training records are completed within agreed upon timeframes.
