Job Description :About our client:Our client is a global investment advisory firm focusing on long-term value creation through investment strategies. They work with a diverse group of institutional partners and pride themselves on their collaborative, sustainable, inclusive culture and performance.What you will be doing:
Design, build, and maintain interactive BI dashboards and reports to support key business teams (investment, risk, and operations).
Automate recurring reporting processes to improve accuracy and speed, while consistently maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
Work closely with IT, data engineering teams, and business analysts to optimize data pipelines and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Monitor critical metrics like portfolio performance, cash flows, and credit risk, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer business-related questions regarding investment, performance, and market trends.
What our client is looking for:
A relevant tertiary degree would be beneficial (Finance, Economics, Data Science, etc.)
A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in BI, data analytics, or investment operations, preferably within private credit, private equity, or asset management.
Advanced proficiency in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, coupled with strong SQL querying skills for complex data.
A solid understanding of data warehouse concepts (star schema, snowflake schema) and hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools.
Strong knowledge of asset management, investment strategies, and financial performance metrics.
The ability to interpret data from various financial sources and use strong Excel skills (including Power Query and VBA) for analysis.
A proven ability to solve problems and a strong analytical mindset to drive business outcomes.
