Our client, a leading player in the engineering and industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a driven individual to join their Finance Department.This position is reporting to the Management Accountant.Key Responsibilities:Prepare routine calculations, reports, and analysisHandle invoicing across creditors, debtors, and salesReconcile discrepancies and general ledger accountsMaintain cashbooks and assist with procurement functions (GRNs, POs)Load and manage payments via ERP system and banking platformsAssist with VAT and EMP submissions and SARS communicationSupport month-end journals, reporting, and year-end proceduresManage asset depreciation, additions, and disposalsHandle foreign transactions, imports, exports, and customs processesAssist with forecasting, cost-saving initiatives, and financial analysisCollaborate with colleagues and assist on daily financial tasks and ad hoc projectsMinimum Requirements:Educational Qualification:Grade 12N4 Financial Management Certificate OR Diploma in Financial/Cost Accounting, a degree would be highly beneficialMust be busy with Saica articles or has completed Saica articlesExperience:45 years experience in a finance-related role (preferably in manufacturing)Languages:Fluent in English and AfrikaansTechnical Competencies:Proficient in Microsoft OfficeERP experience essential (SAP exposure highly advantageous)Strong understanding of financial principles and reconciliations * SA Citizens only
