We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant at our facility to assist in keeping the buildings and common areas of the Village in good repair.If you would like to work for a dynamic and reputable retirement group then this is the job for you.Duties include but is not limited to the following:

Complete all maintenance as per the rosters and schedules that govern the maintenance of the Village
Keep all roofs, gutters and exteriors in good repair
Respond to Residents requests as co-ordinated by the Maintenance Manager
Do all small plumbing, electrical, painting and repair jobs required within the Village
Ensure that plant and tools are well looked after
Abide by all health and safety rules

RequirementsExperience and Knowledge: Relevant maintenance experience, basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and electricalSkills and Attributes: Good communication skills, neat presentation, patience and the ability to work with the elderlyWorking Hours: Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 until 17h00.View and apply for this and other vacancies online via
