My client, a well-established group of companies, based in TechnoPark Stellenbosch, is seeking to employ an IT Infrastructure & Operations Support Administrator to join their team.A relevant degree or course(s) in Networking, Microsoft Administration or related field coupled with a minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Systems Administrator essential.QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

At least 3 year working experience in a systems administrator role
Relevant Network Certifications
Relevant Microsoft Admin Certifications

Knowledge and experience in using:

Windows Servers
Active Directory Domain Service and Azure Active Directory
Networking IP Address planning & subnetting, VLAN
DNS
VPNs
Microsoft 365
Firewall Configuration and Maintenance
Proactive monitoring

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure high availability of all systems & infrastructure
Upkeep of the documentation of all networks & systems
Ensure cyber security standards are implemented and maintained
Ensure that all systems remain patched & upgraded
Monitoring of all infrastructure
Deployment of applications & systems
Production support of applications & systems
Ensure that a DR plan is in place for systems
Manage cloud administration, services & subscriptions
End User Support
Continuous Improvements
Look for opportunities for automation for standardisation and scale
