Start Date: ASAPPosition OverviewOur client is urgently seeking a skilled Lamination Operator to join our dynamic production team in Alberton. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of our laminator machine, ensuring all production and quality control standards are met. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive, safety-conscious, and detail-driven individual with solid machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate solvent-based, solvent-free, and mono-component laminator machinesSetup the laminator in accordance with operational proceduresEnsure work orders are followed and documented, including quality control requirementsCollect correct materials from stores and perform line clearance on completion of ordersConduct regular safety checks and maintain high housekeeping standards in the production areaPerform quality control inspections and escalate deviations to managementAssist as relief machine operator across both production plants when neededEnsure minimum material waste and cost-effective operationsMaintain and clean laminator equipment and auxiliary machinesRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong mechanical and technical aptitudeProblem-solving and time management skillsGood communication and teamwork capabilitiesAbility to follow safety protocols and quality standardsPhysically fit to meet the demands of the roleAbility to work independently and under pressureBehavioural AttributesHigh work ethic and attention to detailStrong commitment to safety, accuracy, and deadlinesReliable, disciplined, and able to work in a team-oriented environmentHow to ApplySend detailed CV, Certificates, and ID copy toUse reference number MID566 in email subject line?
