Hire Resolve's Client, a reputable mining company based in Mpumalanga is currently looking for an experienced Commercial Superintendent to join their team.Responsibilities:
- Oversee commercial activities including procurement, contracts management, logistics, and supply chain functions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and mining industry regulations.
- Negotiate, manage, and monitor supplier and service provider contracts to ensure cost efficiency and service delivery.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support operational and production requirements.
- Monitor and control departmental budgets, ensuring effective cost management.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and finance teams to align commercial objectives with operational needs.
- Grade 12
- Relevant Degree or Diploma
- 5 years' experience commercial/supply chain management within the mining industry.
- Experience on ERP Systems (SAP/COUPA)
- Good understanding of fuel usage, production volumes, and cost efficiency in mining operations.
- Ability to assess fuel costs per ton and ensure cost-effective mining services.
- Familiar with mining equipment such as excavators, shovels, ADTs, PDS systems, and road trains.
- Valid Driver's License
