Market relatedMAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOBSourcing and procuring products and services for the company and providing an administration service to the Purchasing Department.BACKGROUND INFORMATION REGARDING THE JOBThis position forms part of the Supply Chain Department of MMC. In this position the job incumbent will be a member of the procurement team. This position includes all the normal functions of a buyer and weekly standby on a rotational basis is required.MMC offers a very dynamic working environment, where the person will be part of a team that ensures production and delivery of the world's highest quality EMM to customers all over the world, directly from Mbombela (Nelspruit).JOB OBJECTIVES

Timeous placement and delivery of orders.
Source and procure products and services correctly and on time.
Administer the vendor master data
Perform administration related to purchasing

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

National Diploma in Purchasing
2 years' experience in a purchasing environment
