
Employee Benefit Consultant

- Serve as the main point of contact for clients in the absence of the Senior Consultant and act as secondary support when the Senior Consultant is present.
- Ensure the efficient daily operation of assigned funds.
- Draft agendas, minutes, and file notes for trustee and management meetings.
- Coordinate annual risk benefit renewals.
- Log and process Section 14 transfer applications.
- Draft rule amendments in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Take and distribute minutes, agendas, and action items from meetings.
- Respond to client queries (telephonic, email, and written) within agreed service standards.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism in all client and internal communications.
- Attend E-Learning Forum sessions as required for continued professional development.
- Take full ownership of assigned clients, including development and execution of client plans.
- Recognised Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Financial Services/Employee Benefits environment.
- FAIS Compliant.
- Regulatory Exam (RE5) completed.
- Class of Business (COB) training completed.
- Product Specific Training completed.
- CFP or CFA qualification (advantageous).
- Must meet FSCA requirements of being Fit and Proper and not under supervision.
- Clean ITC and criminal checks.
- Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills are essential.
