Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients in the absence of the Senior Consultant and act as secondary support when the Senior Consultant is present.
  • Ensure the efficient daily operation of assigned funds.
  • Draft agendas, minutes, and file notes for trustee and management meetings.
  • Coordinate annual risk benefit renewals.
  • Log and process Section 14 transfer applications.
  • Draft rule amendments in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Take and distribute minutes, agendas, and action items from meetings.
  • Respond to client queries (telephonic, email, and written) within agreed service standards.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism in all client and internal communications.
  • Attend E-Learning Forum sessions as required for continued professional development.
  • Take full ownership of assigned clients, including development and execution of client plans.
Requirements:
  • Recognised Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Financial Services/Employee Benefits environment.
  • FAIS Compliant.
  • Regulatory Exam (RE5) completed.
  • Class of Business (COB) training completed.
  • Product Specific Training completed.
  • CFP or CFA qualification (advantageous).
  • Must meet FSCA requirements of being Fit and Proper and not under supervision.
  • Clean ITC and criminal checks.
  • Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • South African Citizen
