Job descriptionProvides secure and timely driving services to make deliveries or collections on behalf of the company.Tasks related to this position include but are not limited to:Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most convenient route
Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions as needed
Report road incidents
Inspection of the truck before trip and after trip
Report any defects
Perform preventative maintenance
Ensure load is secured properly prior to departure
Populating a logbook/trio sheet for rest periods and kilometres driven
Driver must assist with checking of goods when loaded and off loaded
Ensure collection signed delivery notes after every delivering
Valid Code14 License with PDP and DG
Qualifications and competencies required:Grade 12 or equivalent
Super-link Truck Experience: 5 years (Required)
PDP and Code 14 driver’s license (Required)
Dangerous Goods Permit
Good Communication
Ability to use electronic equipment-GPS
