We are seeking a responsible, analytical and curious Millwright with a natural flair for problem-solving to join the Maintenance Team. The Millwright reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for ensuring that Plant Maintenance is done effectively and accurately in such a way to ensure minimum downtime.Minimum Requirements:Completed a Millwright Trade Test and N4 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. Gained at least 5 years’ post-qualifying experience within an FMCG production environment. Experienced with mixers, dividers, proofers and conveyor systems. PLC/VSD Drives experience will be an advantage. Oven burners and bakery equipment. Ability to work systematically. Ability to prioritize workload. Report writing and analysis. Mentoring apprentices. Must be able to work shifts and be available on callouts and standby if required.Duties & Responsibilities:Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the machines do not deteriorate. Inspect drives, motors, belts, bearings, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions following checklists. Assemble, install and / or repair, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment on steam and waterlines. Ensure that your department complies with all Health and Safety requirements. Record maintenance and repair work performed. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Projects and machine installations.
