Job DescriptionThe Claims Motor Assessing Moderator assumes responsibility for quantifying the additional damages and completing costing queries in the Assessing department.Responsibilities:

Moderate assessments completed by the service providers.
Monitor and manage the average repair cost as well as the quality of their own assessment.
Ensuring team members are behaving in line with the company procedures.
Dealing with escalated customer complaints and adhoc queries.
Liaise with service providers, clients and advisors.
Conduct all the above to the required performance and quality standards that are in place

Qualifications

Matric
Qualified Panel beater, Spray Painter or Motor Mechanic
Meet minimum criteria for VDQ. (VDQ Professional Membership)
Leadership, Management and or Insurance related studies completed or in progress will be advantageous.
