RPO Recruitment is currently representing a leading Real Estate company based in Pretoria, who are seeking a skilled Junior Town Planner to join their team.The Town Planner will be responsible for managing and coordinating development projects, ensuring compliance with zoning and land use regulations, and maintaining relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.Responsibilities:

Conducting research and analysis of relevant planning regulations, policies, and guidelines
Preparing and reviewing development proposals and applications
Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other professionals to create comprehensive development plans
Ensuring compliance with zoning and land use regulations
Managing projects from conception to completion, including overseeing the planning and construction processes
Maintaining relationships and communication with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders
Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and changes in planning regulations

Requirements

Recognised degree in Town and Regional Planning
3 years working experience of Land-use Applications
Background in urban planning, coupled with a strong understanding of local land-use policies and procedures (especially in Tshwane).
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail
Motivated and Dedicated
Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills (English).
Good organisation skills i.e. able to plan and prioritise.

Benefits

Salary: R240K - R180K, negotiable
