Requirements:

A solid foundation with a Grade 12 or equivalent, with an IT degree or diploma highly desirable.
A minimum of 7 years' experience in software engineering, with a profound expertise in PHP and related technologies.
Proficiency in Docker for building, testing, and deploying applications.
Advanced knowledge in database management, including data migration and scripting.
Skilled in modern Git workflows, embodying best practices in version control and CI/CD.
Leadership prowess in guiding engineering teams, fostering a culture of mentorship, goal-setting, and supportive oversight.
A strong grasp of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), design patterns, and principles, ensuring a robust architectural foundation.
Expertise in microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud technologies (AWS), setting the stage for scalable, resilient infrastructure.
Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, adept at conflict resolution, task prioritization, and driving collaborative success.
