
Banqueting Coordinator

- Preparing quotes, making follow-up calls with prospective clients and holding meetings with clients who are interested in hosting an event.
- Quote, contract, invoice and manage all potential business through all available booking channels.
- Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally, providing information on venue facilities, services, and pricing.
- Host site inspections and at times in conjunction with the Sales team.
- Prepare all function run sheets and documentation timeously including purchase orders for service providers.
- To continuously seek ways to maximise revenues and profits by up-selling facilities and services.
- Previous Groups and Events experience, within a luxury environment - preferred.
- Proven experience in event planning
- Previous junior sales and reservations experience – advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer literacy.
