- Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- Registration with SAPC.
- Proven experience as a licensed pharmacist.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation, ethics, and clinical practice.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Dispense prescription medicines accurately and in compliance with legal and professional requirements.
- Provide professional advice on the use, dosage, side effects, and interactions of medicines.
- Counsel patients on health management, disease prevention, and lifestyle choices.
- Check prescriptions for errors and ensure they are clinically appropriate for patients.
- Manage inventory of medicines and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Ensure all medicines are stored and handled according to regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain patient medication profiles and accurate pharmaceutical records.
- Oversee and guide pharmacy assistants, interns, and technicians.
- Liaise with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Stay updated with new medicines, treatments, and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal standards in pharmacy practice.
