The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of small plant equipment like rammers, compactors, saws, drills, generators, etc, ensuring that all machinery is in optimal working condition to meet our customers' needs.Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair faults on small plant hire equipment such as rammers, rollers, plate compactors, mixers, concrete saws, and more.
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
  • Ensure all equipment is safe and complies with industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers as needed.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and order new parts as required.
  • Collaborate with the hire desk and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification - at least N2
  • 2 years of relevant small-plant or construction experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of small plant machinery.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work under pressure in a structured environment
  • Valid driver's license.
