- Perform eligibility and benefits verification for treatments, hospitalizations, and procedures.
- Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtaining any missing information.
- Following up on unpaid claims within the standard billing cycle timeframe.
- Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary
- Identifying and billing secondary or tertiary insurances.
- Provides customer support through different communication channels (phone, email, chat).
- Resolve issues & accommodate customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction with products or services.
- Collaborate with colleagues and different departments to resolve complex issues
- Maintain accurate records on customer interactions, transaction, feedback, etc.
- At least 1 year doing medical insurance and claims
- Experience supporting a client for medical claims, benefits, eligibilities, denials, appeals
- Knowledge in US Medical Billing (Medicare and Medicaid)
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Amenable to work from 3:00 PM or later
- Has stable internet connection and ample working space to work from home
- Has back-up internet connection
- Ensure you have at least 3 to 4 hours of power backup for laptop, with 2nd screen and internet connectivity, when load shedding happens.
