To manage the regions production activities and using the available resources i.e. manpower, machinery and materials etc to meet customer requirements.Education:Grade 12/ or equivalent qualificationQualifications:Production/Operation management diploma and/or appropriate Technikon qualificationExperience:7-10 years production experience and preferably within a foam environment/an working within/or with the motor industryDuties :Planning, organising, leading and controlling the operations/production activitiesEnsuring optimal utilization of resources to achieve outputInvolved with Branch costing of Products/ProcessesEngaging in continuous improvement activities to optimises productionResponsible for meeting the production output and quality requirementUnderstanding of various industries QMS requirementsOther:Leadership essential. Industrial Relations i.e. familiar with the LRA, Industry main agreement, OHSA and inventory control essential.
