
Production Technician

- Set up and adjust automatic and semi-automatic filling, capping, and labelling equipment to meet production schedules.
- Monitor line performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and maintain target OEE.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with machine operators to ensure proper operation and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Train new and existing operators on equipment use, safety procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in and lead Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment settings, maintenance activities, and production performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in all production activities.
- Technical diploma or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG
- Hands-on experience with filling, capping, and labelling machinery.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with OEE metrics and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Operating Hours: DAY SHIFT: Monday to Friday, 07h00 to 16h30, NIGHT SHIFT: Monday to Thursday 18:00 to 06:00. Operations are a 2-shift weekly rotation. Friday nights and Saturdays are worked during peak periods and when required to support manufacturing demand.
