Our client is a prominent private company that owns a number of established outlets in the Western Cape. They are expanding and have a need for enthusiastic people to support this growth, which includes a Floor Manager position.It is the responsibility of the Floor Manager is to create and maintain a fully functioning, profitable Floor Department (including groceries, perishables, cooldrinks and back up areas).Promote excellent customer service and full management of all Floor staff members (including groceries, perishable, cooldrinks and back up areas)Responsibilities:

Stock management
Cold chain management
Signage and pricing
Adherence to Group merchandising standards
Promotions
Customer experience
Meeting departmental targets.
Hygiene and housekeeping.
Staff management
Administration

Requirements:

Task orientated
Numeracy skills
Effective communication skills
Ordering skills
Diligent in the performance of duties
Staff management skills
Must be able to work with people daily

Minimum Qualification and Experience

2 years retail management experience on the grocery floor
Computer literacy
