We are currently looking for a vibrant Graduate Engineer (Civil Engineering Structures) to join our Structures team based in our Durban Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for This position is responsible for the technical design of projects within the section and will be required to assist Engineers.Key ResponsibilitiesCreating technically accurate and well-presented reportsOverseeing Technicians/Draughtsmen in project workAnalyzing details to suggest improvementsGiving technical presentations and attending meetingsAdhering to established proceduresEnsuring tasks are completed on time and within budgetDeveloping expertise in local business technologiesInspecting construction projects for complianceConsidering time and cost factors in project planningAssisting in bid preparationProviding software training to team membersManaging meeting schedules and recording minutesSupporting Engineers by reviewing technical designsCarrying out technical tasks as directed by the Engineer.Recommended Qualifications, Skills And ExperienceBachelor of Engineering degree/higher degree from accredited university/college0- 3 years’ experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environmentAt Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
