Fluxing
Filtration of samples
XRF pellet preparation
Grading analysis (PSD)
Moisture analysis
Fire Assay calculations and QC reporting
Balance Room Operations
Wet chem. Sample preparation
Good housekeeping
SHE Compliance
Ensuring that samples are prepared and analyzed accurately and timeously
Primary sample preparation in an analytical chemistry laboratory would be advantageous
Secondary sample in an analytical chemistry laboratory
Separation of precious metals of fire assay techniques would be advantageous

Minimum RequirementsQualifications

Grade 12 with passed subjects (Mathematics and Science)/NQF Level 4
Basic Computer literacy

Job specific experience

Minimum 2 years Laboratory experience
Fluxing
Filtration of samples XRF pellet preparation
Grading analysis (PSD)
Moisture analysis
