The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to build relationships with internal role players, which is crucial for success in this position. The successful candidate will report to the Insurance Manager.Description

Develop and implement an effective marketing strategy to recruit and grow new business, following the guidelines of OBARO Brokers;

Maintain existing business by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with customers;

Analyze and evaluate existing insurance policies, offer comparative analyses, and suggest alternatives to customers;

Implement effective business practices to ensure success;

Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal team members and external clients; and

Stay up-to-date with the latest legislation and regulations in the short-term insurance industry.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 qualification will serve as a requirement, and preference will be given to a relevant postgraduate qualification;
Completed NQF 4 Qualification will serve as preference;
Regulatory Examination Certificates (RE1/5) will serve as preference;
Computer proficiency and knowledge of the MS Office package;
Maintain excellent customer relationship and strong communication skills;
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in crop insurance and asset insurance marketing;
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Afrikaans and English;
Clean credit and criminal record is a requirement; and
Willingness to travel with a valid car license.
