Job Summary Location: Centurion (with occasional travel to the North West)
Industry: Mining & MetalsWhat you’ll be doing (besides keeping the financial seams tight):

Reporting & Financial Control
Preparing financial analyses that give management the golden nuggets they need to make smart decisions
Managing budgets, forecasts, and cost control (digging deep into the detail)
Ensuring tax compliance is as clean as polished platinum
Running closing processes smoothly every month and quarter
Preparing cost analyses, estimates, accruals and reclassifications without missing a decimal
Managing admin and creditors staff, leading by example and keeping operations in line
Occasional travel to site in the North West, seeing the numbers and operations in action

You’re the rare gem we’re after if you have:

A BCom degree in Accounting or similar
4 to 5 years’ experience in a Management Accounting role
Sage knowledge
People management experience, you know how to lead, not just manage
An analytical mind with a knack for spotting cost-saving opportunities
A willingness to get hands-on and a love for turning data into decisions
