The main purpose of the job is to operate the business’ cash till; correctly receive cash payments from customers and to ensure the security of all such receipts and the full contents of the till at all times. To manage the business’ switchboard professionally and in accordance with company standards; receiving all incoming calls and distributing them to the appropriate extensions, taking messages, routine administration duties.1. Greeting Customers
2. Ringing up Purchases
3. Accepting Payments
4. Issuing accurate Receipts
5. Balancing the till
6. Maintaining equipment
7. Answering incoming calls
8. Transferring / redirecting calls
9. Taking accurate messages
10. Handling Customer queries
11. Assisting with General Administration
12. To uphold and promote the company values and culture:Job Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Relevant product system/knowledge
  • Basic computer skills
